It’s just inappropriate to talk about some topics at a family reunion, or a wedding reception.  And that’s what Facebook is for - a gathering of a bunch of family and friends who just want to hang out and have fun.  So, I’ve kept controversial topics off Facebook.  And I’ve kept them off my Blogger page as well, as it feeds posts to FB, and is supposed to be about other topics.  But Tumblr is a chance for me to write the things that are on my mind.  And some of these difficult issues that I feel so passionately about are coming out here.  Looking back on my posts, I’m not who I appear to be from the thin slivers of thought that garnered enough momentum to cause a post this past week, so I wonder if over time this will equalize out to represent me in small slivers of thought, or if this will become a haven for writing about a topic or two I’m passionate about.  Or something else entirely. Time will tell.
